Welcome to a mindfulness and meditation retreat led by monastic students of Zen master Thich Nhat Hanh founder of the Plum Village tradition.

Learn how to cultivate zen, presence, resilience, and joy in your daily life as a way of finding more freedom and stability to navigate challenging experiences.

This retreat will offer meditation in various formats (guided, walking, eating), live talks, Q&A, deep relaxation and sharing circles; all practices that will benefit beginners as well as experienced practitioners.

The planned activities will be led by experienced monastics:
• Jem Fredhamn (dharma teacher)
• Brother Phap Xa (monastic brother from EIAB in the Plum Village tradition)
• Brother Troi Khiet Tam (monastic brother from EIAB in the Plum Village tradition)

The retreat is organised by three swedish sanghas in the Plum Village community:
- Wake Up Lund
- Sangha Malmö
- Wake Up Stockholm

All three communities, gather on a regular basis to practice mindfulness in order to take care of ourselves, nourish happiness and contribute to building a healthier and a more compassionate society. Please get in contact with us if you wish to receive more information regarding regular gatherings. This event is not for profit and completely organized by volunteers. Our wish is to make the Plum Village teachings accessible to people across Sweden.
