Regardless of your age, professional background or interests, you will gain an in-depth understanding of how to optimize both your physical and mental health and capacity. It's everything from students, managers, retirees, industrial workers and self-employed people to athletes. This diversity of participants is one of the great things about booking a Wim Hof ​​Method weekend, where you can learn and grow with people from different professions and backgrounds.

 

This method is scientifically based and supported by research and studies, giving you the tools to optimize your body and mind to reach new heights. Wim Hof ​​Method Weekend ​

During this weekend, Björn Karlsson takes you on a three-day trip for an extended Wim Hof ​​Method training experience. WHM Weekends are meant to be a deeper exploration of the Wim Hof ​​method than can be covered in a workshop.

 

Over the course of this weekend, all aspects of the Wim Hof ​​Method will be covered in detail. You will learn about the physiological mechanisms involved and engage in a variety of breathing and cold therapy activities. Björn incorporates other activities that work in synergy with the Wim Hof ​​Method – such as meditation, nutrition, physical performance, stress management, mental mindset for focus, etc. – based on Coach Björn's own specialization and areas of expertise.

 

Treat yourself to being able to leave everyday life for a weekend in a fantastic environment and learn and immerse yourself in the tools that make you strong, happy and healthy. A deep dive into the incredibly popular and scientifically supported Wim Hof ​​method for better health through the three pillars of breathing, exposure to cold and mindset.

 

Completing a Wim Hof ​​weekend at Mundekulla gives you more than "just" a unique experience in a calming place far from the stress of everyday life. You are filled with new knowledge and insights both to improve your health, manage stress and increase your physical performance. But also  to share a completely unique experience together. A recurring feedback I get from my Wim Hof ​​events is along the lines of "almost provocative that you weren't taught some of these basic things about breathing already in primary school". I get this response from both the "office worker" and the "ironman athlete."

 

Practice mindfulness and concentration, learn the method that can both regulate your autonomic nervous system and immune system, train your blood vessels while strengthening the body, making it more resilient, reducing inflammation and developing flexibility and agility in both mind and body. WHM Weekends suit both those who are new to the method and those who are already practicing.

The weekend will be taught by an experienced certified level 2 instructor, with a limited number of participants. This means high-quality teaching and very personal attention. Our base will be the Mundekulla Retreat center and we will also take part in its beautiful surroundings and nature. ​

 

Whether you want to improve your mental or physical performance, become a master at managing stress, relieve symptoms related to an inflammatory disease or are just curious about what the Wim Hof ​​method is all about. You will learn how breathing and cooling can briefly stress your body for a calming, beneficial, strengthening and healing effect, and learn how the mind can be controlled and what opportunities you have to actually influence your physical response and ability to stress by how you choose use your thoughts and breathing.

 

Who is this weekend for?

This workshop is suitable for everyone, but does require a basic level of health. Out of precaution, we advise against participation during pregnancy, or if you are epileptic. People with cardiovascular issues, or any other serious health conditions should always consult a medical professional before starting the Wim Hof Method.

 

The instructor: Björn Karlsson

Björn is a Swedish Wim Hof instructor from Kalmar, 43 years old with a 9-year-old son. Exercise and nutrition have been his true passion for as long as he can remember, but it was not his profession. Becoming a Wim Hof instructor has given him so much and being able to inspire others to better health is something he is passionate about. To each time be present with another person when they discover something completely new and often revolutionary for the first time within themselves.

Part in double room with bathroom: SEK 5,200
Part in double room shared bathroom: SEK 5,000
Sleeping alcove with shared bathroom: SEK 4,500

Payment

When booking, 50% of the total amount is charged. The remaining fee is paid on site at check-in.

Information on food and accommodation

  • Mundekulla serves organic and vegetarian food and offer milk and gluten free options for you who prefer that. Please let us know when booking if you have any allergies.

  • All participants should check in at the reception upon arrival and pay the remaining fee.

  • Bring your own sheets and towels or rent at Mundekulla for SEK 150/set.

  • Participants clean their rooms after the course, or buy this service for SEK 300 per room. For room cleaning not carried out by participant a fee of SEK 400 will be invoiced.

  • Course participants help out with washing up after meals. (2-3 persons/meal)

  • It is not allowed to light candles in the rooms or to bring pets to the facilities.

  • It's good to bring clothes for nature walks.
