During one week, Maria Koroleva and her team will take you on a journey to deeply nourish your health, rediscover your balance and tap into your resources for wellbeing and happiness.

REFIND YOUR LIFE BALANCE

You will receive a daily dose of theory and continuous practice of the obtained knowledge on the following aspects of life:

  • EAT – about food and how to feed yourself healthy, including an easy cooking class

  • SLEEP – how to sleep restfully and efficiently, relaxation practices

  • MOVE – lots of movement styles, including yoga, dance, strength, cardio, pilates and more, accessible for all fitness levels

  • BREATHE – breathing techniques for energy, relaxation, sleep and memory

  • FEEL – practices which help you get comfortable with emotions and yourself in the changing world, such as embodiment, conversational practices, art-therapy

  • THINK – mindfulness theory and practice, a well as science on how to use the brain efficiently and stay motivated

  • LIVE – eco-friendly living, foraging, garden excursion, alignment with seasons

  • HEAL – tips and tricks from natural medicine, osteopathy and biohacking

A POWERFUL COMBINATION OF THEORY, PRACTICE AND DEEP RELAXATION - IN NATURE

The variety of experiences will be introduced by six guides with different backgrounds and personalities to make sure you explore enough activities to choose from

Through guided sessions and self-reflection, you'll gain valuable insights and tools to create a personal plan for a healthier, happier life when you return home

We strive for a balanced mix of theory and practice, therefore, the gained knowledge will be put into action immediately

Two aspects we pay special attention to and make sure you get plenty of, are movement and self-reflection, because often there is not enough time for those during the day-to-day life. Both will be accessible and voluntary

We will also facilitate the formation of a community by creating a safe and open-minded space for all participants

The retreat will take place in the beautiful natural surroundings and buildings of Mundekulla - enjoy the forest, meadows, swimming ponds, sauna and peacefulness.

MEET MARIA KOROLEVA
AN ARTFUL COMBINATION OF SCIENCE AND SPIRIT

For twelve years Maria pursued a successful career in business consulting, known for long working hours and high performance. Looking for a balance in life, she practiced yoga in parallel, learned reiki and developed an interest in psychology and natural medicine.

Maria attended numerous courses on psychology and psychosomatics and obtained additional education in the school of natural medicine where she got even more questions on how the body and mind work and decided to switch the career path and dig deeper into science.

Currently Maria studies molecular medicine at the university, while professionally provides consultations on psychosomatics. In 2022 Maria attended the 200 hours yoga teachers training led by world famous Dylan Werner.

 

Maria keeps her body fit with yoga, fitness and lots of biohacking methods. And she loves to attend transformative retreats herself, as they give her energy, help solving life questions, deepen her spiritual practice and provide brilliant communities.

With this multifaceted experience, Maria feels honored and well-equipped to share her knowledge, practice and energy with you on your journey to a happier and healthier life.

SANDRA GEITZ
Connection of Body and Mind

Movement has played an important role throughout Sandra's life and for the last 8 years her work is centred around the body and somatic processes. She has worked with Zen coaching, a body-oriented coaching form with its base in meditation, since 2017 and as a facilitator for groups within the field of self-cultivation and transformation.

Sandra attended numerous courses and trainings within Family Constellation, Nonviolent Communication, Somatic Experiencing, Art and writing therapy. She is passionate about embodied living, where all of ourselves can be included and our body with its intelligence can support us to find more presence, wellbeing, creativity, balance and joy in every day.

ALFONSO CALABRIA
Healthy & Balanced Eating 

Alfonso will support you to bring healthy, nourishing and delicious meals into your daily life. He is a passionate chef whose world travels brought him knowledge and experience in many world cuisines and flavours, which as specialization in plant-based and vegetarian meals.

With a deep interest in Traditional Chinese Medicine, acupuncture and macrobiotics, Alfonso has studied the energetic workings of different ingredients and ways of cooking. He loves to play with the different warming and cooling qualities of a meal, the nourishing qualities of ingredients and adjust his menu to different times of the year.

Stephanie Verstift

STEPHANIE VERSTIFT
TCM and Creative Expression

Stephanie studied shiatsu massage and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) at Academie Qing-Bai in The Netherlands, specifically on the Five Elements and how they can help us understand our physical and emotional wellbeing. From connecting to your core strength (hara) to practical insight on how to align the seasons and rhythms of nature. She loves to work with simple stretches, exercises and acupressure points for relief, relaxation, recharging and healing.

With her background in co-creation, culture, facilitation and change (University of Amsterdam), Stephanie loves to tap into collective wisdom and genius through artistic expression. She will host a collective painting workshop in which we will play with colour, abstract form and natural shapes. A beautiful exercise to explore balance and harmony -  through co-creation, holding loosely, giving space, embracing surprise and flow.

ELIN NORDENBERG
Nature Connection & Gardening

Elin is our gardener and food forest enthusiast here at Mundekulla. She has done the Permaculture design course with Kostersträdgårdar and Lilla skräddaröd farm and is working with permaculture for several years now. She is currently completing a one-year course in Food forestry in Stjärnsund. 

Permaculture and specifically food forestry in combination with embodiment has been an entry point for Elin to engage with life fully. As we start to feel our own body, our emotions, and sensations, we may also start to feel what is around us and we start to feel the earth. It is her wish to weave these treads between human and ecosystem, contribution to a culture which is regenerative rather than extractive. Elin will explore these topics during the retreat, with simple practices, inquiries and time spent in the garden and forest.

GALINA STUDER
Self care & Wellness

For Galina longevity is about fostering balance and health. As a mother of two kids, she was actively pursuing a business career. No matter how she felt on a day, she had to look and be at her best even when getting up very early morning hours and coming to rest only after midnight.

 

She learned how to achieve a sense of balance and harmony in all aspects of her life, including physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being, even when the odds were against it. This became her renewable source of longevity.

 

During the retreat Galina will share with you simple but powerful life hacks to feel happier while giving your looks the little extra: smooth and glowing skin, shiny and beautiful hair, all there to support the sparkle of your eyes.

As a trusted mentor and coach, Martin has helped numerous individuals enhance their personal vision and achieve a more productive yet balanced and mindful version of themselves. Having held senior and executive leadership roles in global organizations, he firmly believes that strengthening an individual's readiness and balance is a core component of a healthy community.

Martin's expertise extends beyond the professional realm, as he is also a dedicated family man who has mastered the art of balancing personal, family, and pro-bono commitments. He attributes his success to maintaining a foundation of healthy nutrition, tailored workout routines, and protocols that foster mental focus.

At this health and life balance retreat, Martin will help you map out a personalized balanced scorecard and individual planning routines. Check-in and arrival from 4 pm on October 8th.

Dinner at 6 pm; Opening circle at 8 pm​

The Retreat ends at 3 pm on Saturday 14th of October.
 

Booking & Accommodation

The Life Balance Retreat includes 6 nights accommodation and 3 beautiful vegetarian meals per day, Swedish fika (pastry and snack time) and access to fruits, water, organic warm drinks; as well as the full programme of sessions, lectures and activities.

Cancelation fee

In case of cancelation, we will return you full fee except for cancelation fee of SEK 800 per person. In case of canceling after 23 September 2023 (two weeks before event or less), refund will only take place on presentation of a medical certificate.


Food and practical info

  • Mundekulla serves organic, vegan or vegetarian food and offer milk and gluten free options for those who wish or have allergies. However, we cannot serve food that suits all different diets.

  • All participants should check in at the reception and pay for any upgraded lodging upon arrival

  • It is not allowed to use candles in the rooms.

  • Pets cannot be brought to the facilities, but there is a dog hotel 7 km from Mundekulla

  • It can be nice to bring clothes and shoes for nature walks.

Alcohol-free and drug-free

Mundekulla is an alcohol- and drug-free center. With an exception for coffee and chocolate :)
