In the name of Love, My Yoganess Retreat, April 27-29 2018

Retreat facilitators: Åsa Rexare Simonsen and Erik Simonsen

Welcome to a weekend in the name of LOVE!
This is a retreat where you could come as an individual, but maybe even more powerful – as a pair with some kind of relationship. Could be partners, parent, sibling, child or why not a really good friend?

The retreat will include yoga suitable for all levels of experience, meditation, dancing, singing, rituals and practices to nurture sweetness and love. We will share exercises to deepen the loving connection to all dimensions of yourself, but also between you and another.

Our intention with this retreat is to offer a beautiful and unique opportunity for someone in your life to understand more about yoga and the yogic lifestyle and why it is important to you. And you will get an opportunity to deepen your relationship and connection, while also treating your self a weekend of recharging and boosting LOVE in all dimensions. A love-bomb!

Åsa Rexare Simonsen:
I have practiced yoga in different forms since 2000. My yoga practice have deepened into a spiritual journey and path to personal development - from a physical practice to a more conscious choice of values and lifestyle. In yoga I have found a way to balance and awaken new facets of myself. It is an ongoing journey that I step by step integrate to all aspects of my life, not only on the yoga mat.
I have 800hrs of teacher training from different traditions. If I need to put a 'label' on the yoga I love to share I would call it interdiciplinary, as I draw from different traditions and inspirations. I adapt the intention and theme to the season in nature, to the time of day and to the participants in the room. I love to teach from a clear intention and then let my intuition guide me into the postures that wants to flow.

Erik Simonsen:
My life changed a few years ago, with the teacher training in Yoga of Recovery and the realisation that I had been looking in all the wrong places  for ways to ’fix’ my life. For me, yoga is the transformation of living my life from my heart and soul - instead of my head.
I continued with a 200 hr yoga teacher training at Urban OM in Stockholm. I share yoga at MyYoganess in Älmhult and also workshops in Yoga of Recovery together with my wife.
