1.st International Sustainability Conference, July 17-19 2009"A matter of Lifestyle"
A weekend focused on sustainable ways of life – sustainable communities, sustainable relationships, sustainable economy. A series of presentations by representatives from different communities such as Findhorn Foundation (Scotland) and Damanhur (Italy) – telling the story of how they started, how they've overcome obstacles, how they have grown and prospered. Questions and answers, discussions and sharing. Time to think, to talk, to listen, to find
inspiration and to formulate and express one’s own vision of a sustainable way of life. Held in connection to the 80th birthday celebration of the native American elder Medicine Story (17 th of july) and the yearly Summercamp (20-24th of july). Read more about the camp

Background
Over the past several years, climate change has finally received worldwide and sustained attention. The Swedish presidency of the EU will start in September of 2009 and the climate talks in Copenhagen are scheduled for november and december of 2009. Hopefully the discussion on sustainability will intensify and broadened to include our way of life as a whole. The timing for a conference on sustainable ways of life seems to us perfect.

2. Sustainability Big camp 17-24th of july (or "Small camp" 20-24 th of july)
Medicine Story, Ellika Linden, Anne & Peter Elmberg
For the 8th year in a row we offer an International Camp with Medicine Story and Ellika based on the Native American tradition.
"Through the Summer Camp we are trying to give ourselves just a little of the experience of living tribally as all our ancestors did, together with new tools to heal ourselves and our relationships which have been damaged by our dominating and isolating culture, and help us learn again how to support and care for and come close to each other. I don’t have all answers for making a more human world, but I am sure that we all do, when we come together and share our best thinking, the wisdom of our great love and compassion and the brilliance of our creativity." / Medicine Story
